Job Summary

In order to make life sound better for our customers, the Composite Production Crew member will work in both a team and individual capacity to create products according to manufacturing orders and bills of material (BOMs) in a timely and efficient manner with attention to quality and throughput.

Hourly, Full-Time, Non-Exempt

Schedule

Monday-Thursday 8:00am-5:30pm, Friday 8:00am-12:00pm

Salary Range

$12.00-14.00/hour

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Timely and accurately process manufacturing orders
  • Follow precise instructions
  • Track and accurately record inventory, accounting for scrap
  • Smooth surfaces of objects or equipment
  • Place materials into molds
  • Apply parting agents or other solutions to molds
  • Mix substances to create chemical solutions
  • Measure dimensions of completed products or workpieces to verify conformance to specifications
  • Inspect production equipment
  • Clean production equipment
  • Select production input materials
  • Load items into ovens
  • Apply adhesives to construction materials
  • Trim excess material from workpieces
  • Build production molds (Lead)
  • Repair parts or assemblies (Lead)

  • Ability to keep your hand and arm steady while moving your arm or while holding your arm and hand in one position

Education and Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • A year of related experience a plus
  • Previous 12-volt experience a plus

Physical Requirements

  • Able to see details at close range
  • Must have manual dexterity in order to assemble products as directed
  • Must have excellent hand-eye coordination
  • Prolonged periods of sitting or standing and performing repetitive tasks
  • Ability to lift 75-100 lbs
