Job Summary
In order to provide the ultimate listening experience to our customers, the Amplifier Repair Technician will test, troubleshoot, and repair production electronic equipment and systems by applying the principles of digital and analog electronics.

Salary Range
$16.00-18.00/hour with experience OR
$12/14/16/18 graduated rate as you progress through our 18-month federally registered apprenticeship program

Duties/Responsibilities
- Correctly receive, evaluate, and log products to be repaired
- Document product issues in RMA our processing software in a timely manner, recording all customer interactions and complaints, escalating unresolved issues to applicable departments for further investigation
- Accurately process and return product to the customer in a timely manner
- Maintain an in depth understanding of the product line and specifications, as well as production methods and procedures
- Work with internal departments to identify and assess production issues and/or opportunities
- Test and evaluate prototype equipment
Required Skills/Abilities
- Solid base of knowledge with Ohm's Law
- Solid base of knowledge with Kirchhoff's Law
- Solid base of knowledge with Capacitors, resistors, and inductors
- Solid base of knowledge with MOSFETS (gate resistance)
- Solid base of knowledge with Transistors (BJTs, FETS, bias, and base currents)
- Basic computer skills to include web browsers, spreadsheets, and Google Workspace applications
- Knowledge of customer service principles
- Basic mechanical skills
- Basic 12-volt knowledge, terminology, and concepts
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Attention to detail
- Dependability
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- 1-2 years related experience preferred
- Any electrical/electronics training a plus
- Previous 12-volt experience a plus
Physical Requirements
- Must have manual dexterity in order to disassemble/reassemble products as directed
- Must have excellent hand-eye coordination
- Prolonged periods of sitting or standing and performing repetitive tasks
- Ability to lift 75-100 lbs
